International Executive Coach for the ICT Industry
Axel is driven by generating results for his clients and improving their leadership, organisational and interpersonal relationship capabilities. Due to his rare combination of entrepreneurship and coaching skills, he is very well accepted by top management and entrepreneurs alike, by Venture Capitalists and International Corporations.
His executive coaching clients often overachieve on their own and their companies’ targets, are well respected by their peers and employees and improve their management style to be real leaders (and not just power driven authorities).
Have a look at some real case scenarios we describe from time to time in our blog-posts: Executive Coaching Practice
IT Entrepreneur since 1993
Axel Rittershaus founded his first IT Company in 1993. This company went on to become one of the top Oracle partners and consulting specialist for the automotive & telecommunications industry and the Public Sector. In 2002 he sold the company and became one of the first Business Development Directors for the Public Sector at Accenture, Germany.
Executive and Coach Simultaneously
Axel’s career as an executive coach began part-time in 2004 when he was still working as a member of the board and key account manager for a medium sized IT Services Company. There, he was responsible for large accounts like Porsche, Allianz and the top 5 German financial institutes. He increased the revenue with his accounts by 50 – 200% within 2 years and introduced two new software vendors to Europe as their major partner.
Understanding the power of networking, Axel was the co-founder and president of the task force “eGovernment” for Europe’s largest IT association “BITKOM” for three years. He also was a member of BITKOM’s steering committee for several years.
Following his Passion
In 2008 he followed his passion for making successful people even more successful and left the IT industry to work full time as an international Executive Coach.
As the president of the Cape Town Chapter for the largest international federation for professional coaches, the ICF International Coach Federation, he helps to improve the image and impact of coaching in South Africa and on the African continent.
